Nothing hurts more than seeing a dirty wall, especially when they just got painted no too long ago Walls seem to get dirty as time progresses, and most of the time we don’t even know how the grime got there. It is especially easy for your walls to get dirty if you have children in the household, or pets who like to wipe their paws all over the wall. The good news is that today you will be learning how to clean your painted walls the right way. Let’s get started on teaching you how cleaning painted walls is done.
The first step you must take in keeping a clean wall, especially when it just recently got painted is to take precaution and work with preventive cleaning. Here is a useful and surprisingly remarkable way to go about preventive cleaning. Get your vacuum cleaner, and use the soft brush attachment that you never thought to use before. We promise you that this will become your go to cleaning tool. You can begin to remove dust off of the wall by vacuuming the wall gently. You can then proceed to wiping the wall down gently with a dusting rag. Make sure the dusting rag is clean.
What about when you have a grime filled wall though? Okay, we know . . .it is time for serious work.
It is fairly easy to clean a painted wall, you’ll see. You can erase scruffs and smudged from your walls by using your favorite product. An example of a good one is Mr Clean magic eraser. If you would rather not use any products, feel free to use a bucket of water, a mild dish detergent and a gentle sponge or microfiber rag.
Remember not to wash around electrical connections
By doing all of this, you will have achieved a clean wall. If the wall is faded or discolored, all you could really do is have an expert repaint it.
